OVO Salons was founded in 2009 in Cumming, GA by Sheryl Kirby and Meg Carpenter, recently completing our seventeenth year in business.
We know the model works!
Our chair rental revenue model makes it easy for our
franchisees to manage the business (or hire a General Manager), and open multiple locations and build a successful multi-unit business.
Although much is changing, some things about the Salon industry are enduring.
The Salon industry, done the OVO Salons way, has many advantages over many other industries.
Services cannot be outsourced or 'delivered by Amazon'
Consumers are unlikely to 'do it themselves'
Technology, including AI, can enhance, but not replace salon services.
Low levels of professional staff needed
